You need to look into selecting the rows/columns you want to merge using
things like Ctrl + Shift etc., then invoke context/right-click key, and hit
enter on merge cells.

When I hit the jump to line hotkey, J, it tells me to enter a line, and
tells me the possible range, as in tells you the total number of lines - and
then, if I just hit up or down arrow, it seems to have defaulted to the
current line number and speaks it to me.

I just tried accessing my friend's wall again, and while it's working jaws
