SharePoint 2010 has more accessibility features available in it if
developers elect to use them. SharePoint 2007 has some major accessibility
problems with few fixes. However, if pages are created in a simple layout
you can manage to get your work done.

Many times if you have installed an anti virus program that handles spy
ware, the program will turn off windows defender. I don't remember how to
turn it back on. However, I do remember it had to be enabled from another
place in windows.
