I would like to know how to stop this on my wife's computer using
windows7 and outlook 2010. As Mike suggested, making a change in Jaws
verbosity might work, but my wife does not have or use Jaws.
She is frustrated when she highlight the email and it opens

I wonder if in Outlook there is something like a reading pane like in OE
that could be on in this case? If so unchecking

Here is my set up. Windows 7 computer, jaws 13, and Outlook 2010. As I
arrow up and down in my list of messages. The body of the message is
automatically read after jaws finishes reading the subject, who is from and
the date and time. How can I stop jaws from reading the message
