That, my friend, is called the windows registry. It isn’t good at deleting

Hello.
A while ago I uninstalled Manamon from my computer.
Howevr when I went to reinstalled it the other day I notice that I
didn't have to re put in my activation info into the game.
It just started up like it is already register.
So how is this possible?

Hmmm, it isn't hard to find software to play zcode games at all, or indeed
games in other If formats like tads or glulks either.
All the best,

I thought the mac had an interpreter called Zoom or something that could
play Zcode, tads and glulks games, though obviously since I don't have a
mac I'm only guessing here.

Seriously, nobody's heard of the app Parchment? Is that still available?

Parchment is really difficult to erase. All kinds of Pagan Literature
from the days when Rome was a major power are being recovered because of
this. For sure, clay tablets with a stylus can be used to play those
games so long as the clay isn't hardened. :-)

I wonder if they can be played on Parchment. I think Parchment is
cross-platform. And I thought people were still making games for the

I mean, even the Apex can play Z5 files, so why is it so hard to find

Most of them aren't playing on the original z-machine any longer. You
might be able to find one of them in Rick's Pawn Shop or that Pawn Shop
in Detroit that's on TV or maybe the Smithsonian Museum by now.

Well, if I remember correctly, Zork was for the original Z machine,
and that's a game that's held up just as well as any 80s video game;
millions still play it.

Actually interactive fiction interpreters tend to be very well maintained
and exist for all modern platforms, Macand Ios as well as Windows, so you
should have no problem playing if games in formats like zcode and tads on a
modern machine, actually there's a pretty cool Nvda addon that reads
