You can't get mk9  on the xbox One.

I typed in mortal combat 9 in the search box with the XBox app on the phone and 
nothing came up. I only saw MK 11 and MK X. BTW is their a way to have narrator 
switch to find form fields or buttons? I’ve bin pressing the right arrow on the 
DPad to find things and I still don’t know the layout of the store or the home 
screen.

If you're playing on a desktop computer you have at least two different
sets of arrow keys.  Arrow keys on number pad and that set of arrow keys
to the left of the number pad.  If the game had origins in unix
environment, a third set of arrow keys is possible using letters on the
keyboard hjkl among others and these came from the vi editor.
