Yeah it was nice while it lasted but with the core devs pritty much no
go and spiradic listings of everything else who knows.

Coolblindtech some more stuff to and it was getting to big.

I mean back before the net and when you had 3.5 inch disks via mail yeah
it worked but now there is a lot of information.

The Applevis site has really filled the gap nicely for people
interested in games for iPhones and iPads. Also, Audiogames.net keeps
chugging along nicely for pretty much all other platforms. That's
tremendously good for people into game consoles and such. My sense is
that people are finding out about the kinds of games available. There
may well be dificulties in more niche areas like accessible tabletop
rpg and board games. In my experience, Google seems to match people up
pretty well if they know enough to search for the right key words.
These days, I'm working on segments for the Kelly and Company show on

Also, I'm currently writing the second edition of my Personal Power

[blind-gamers] Adventure at c:

2022-01-11 Thread Gary Price(Gmail)

Good morning everyone!

Well it's that time in England anyway.

Has anyone on here played this game referenced in the subject?

If yes, how on earth do you get past the corrupt sectors?

I can get to the edge of them, indicated by that loud click kind of sound.

But then, no matter what I try, I just can't jump past it!

Any replies appreciated!

Re: [blind-gamers] looking for this old dos RPG game

2022-01-11 Thread Stephen
Hi.
No, it's not world of legends, I remember playing this particular game in the
early 2000s, before 2006, it ran under pure dos, and you didn't use numbers to
input commands, you used the standard commands north, south, east, west, ETC.
There was even a text file that was presumably displayed when you finished the
game.
It says "Yeah, you beat the game, now get back to work!"
The game also featured a place called stonewall crescent, if I remember
correctly.
Sorry, but that's all I can remember. It might have been referenced in one of
the early audyssey magazine issues.

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but there is the game world of
legends.

https://audiogames.net/db.php?id=World+of+Legends

It was released in 2006, but plays in a dos style console window, and
does have healing potions and other things, as well as lots of strange
enemies; always worth at least one play through for the unique content
and minigames, albeit the writing can be a bit weird at times, and sadly
the game really feels unfinished in it's latter half.

Also fully runs on windows 10 so feel free to give it a go.

All the best,

Dark.
