One I need to make a correction about the region switch. When the switch is to the left you can play PAL region games. When the switch is to the right you can play NTSC games. Second is that if you don't want to carry around a bunch of cartridges. Just get a flash cartridge. Then you can hold your entire library. The third is for me I play 2D fighting games. I personally have problems playing games where you can move in all eight directions. That is why I play games that only let you move forwards and backwards. Re: [blind-gamers] Review of Hyperkin's Supaboy portable and home video game console
To me, “marginally playable” won’t cut it. In a bowling game, I have to be able to accurately determine where to throw the ball from, what pins remaining after the first ball was thrown, and how to accurately aim for getting the spare, and an indication as to my success or lack of success. What frame am I in, and what the current score is. Simply throwing the ball and hoping for success is not good enough. When using a pinball machine, when do I hit which flipper, and, after the ball is lost, what is the score? Just banging away madly at all flippers in hopes of a score is not acceptable. These are only 2 examples. I want to play a game using actual skill rather than sheer luck. If you think you're finished, you! really! are! finished!! Me personally I play fighting games. There are other blind people who play other types of games. It's all base on what you want to play. Of course there are some games that totally blind people can't play. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
