Okay folks. I don't know how many of you do or don't know this,, but
it's a very very important key.
when focused on an item, whether it's in your inventory, or in a
buy/sell list at a market or pretty much any other place, press the
letter n to get a description of what the item does.
This stiff rope everyone is talking about, is actually a robe, not a
rope. How do I know this? here's the description, when I press n while
it is focused in the buy menu.
This robe keeps the wearer from recoiling.
That's the stiff robe, not stiff rope, and is going to be no help in
climbing trees.
I have no idea when you get the rope, because I don't have it yet, and
I've finished the third stadium and am now trying to get across the
desert. Presumably, unless I missed something somewhere, it shows up
after where I am.
