I understood that you place the wood in a thin walled container like an empty
can or in a pouch of aluminium foil with a few holes punched in the top then
put it on your fire. This will cause the wood to smolder but not be immediately
consumed by the fire.

sometimes Rob and all you can save those ice build ups in the drains by
not overloading either the freezer or the refrigerator . we had the
same problem and we were told to take a big bunch of things from the
side by side and put it in the big freezer downstairs. Never had that
problem
