Our mattresses are in great condition, from what we and other sighted people
can tell. There is no cradling, no unevenness, etc.

why not try a piece of ply-wood under the mattress
think about this a captains bed has no box spring the mattress on that type
of bed
has the mattress lying on a ply-wood base
and the amount of air under a bed
can tell. There is no cradling, no unevenness, etc.
