Aloha again, A few weeks ago we discussed solutions for keeping water from splashing when it drains from the washer. I took the suggestion to cover the end with a nylon stocking, but when it gets full it pops off of the hose even though I have it tied on and have a rubberband looped around it

Betsy, I think I wrote about the lint trap on the end of the discharge hose for my washing machine. It is just a stainless steel mesh sock and it is held on to the end of the hose with a zip tie. I thought we got it at Lowes, but possibly Home Depot. As I found out today, not all Lowes
