Got them at local grocery store rite near the laundry soap. They are lint
catchers and fasten on with a regular cable tie. They weren't expensive at all.

the cable tie will also hold the leg of a stocking or pantyhose.

Aloha again,
A few weeks ago we discussed solutions for keeping water from
splashing when it drains from the washer. I took the suggestion to
cover the end with a nylon stocking, but when it gets full it pops
off of the hose even though I have it tied on and have a rubberband
looped around it

I think I wrote about the lint trap on the end of the discharge hose for
my washing machine. It is just a stainless steel mesh sock and it is held
on to the end of the hose with a zip tie. I thought we got it at Lowes,
but possibly Home Depot.
As I found out today, not all Lowes
Thanks Dan. I'll try Sears or the local hardware
store. I had to laugh because when I was asking
about it at Home Depo, the woman who was helping
me said she didn't have it but that it was a
great idea. She was going to try a nylon stocking on hers.
