sounds like a good idea, I might try it. They do have grout bags that serve about the same purpose. I have not used one as of yet, but apparently it is like a cake frosting bag, and you fill it with grout and squeeze it out, like when decorating a cake. Michael _ From:

The only problem I see with this method is the amount of grout being pushed into the crevices, and it not applying a strong enough presence and seal against any spills that may occur from time to time. I thought the whole reason for applying grout in the first place was to create a seal
