I don't know what you mean by safe. I cut my own grass with one for years
before I got married. The best way I found was to divide the yard into little
squares and finish one and move on to the next square. You'll look like you're
dancing because you have to swing a foot around to make sure
Use a mover for years. First I boxed in the flowers and other areas I didn't
want cut with landscape timbers. and cut the grass north to south and east to
west as one would use a sweeper. They tell me the yard looked good.

depends if it's electric or gas. If it's electric the only advice I can give
is know your yard and have someone sighted there to go over what you miss.
If you have a long yard go up the one side, down the back, and up the other
side and then the front edge. Once you get back to the beginning of
