I am in total agreement with Bob about bypassing  safety features.  In 
a previous message I spoke of the lint from the dryer. well. as most of 
you know that lint filter we should all check daily  only catch's  most 
but not all of the lint. I had heard on a news podcasts during the 
winter where as a dryer fire was called in  in New Hampshire and guess 
who had the fire? It was the fire chief  while he was on duty called to 
his own house. I am the first offender on this one but any extra  lint  
inside or outside the  dryer laying around is just an excuse for a fire 
to happen.Lee
