Hi,
a quick message to inquire about the Google contacts integration in Blink.
I am trying this feature with Blink 5.1.0 Linux and it does not appear
to work. Neither it has on all the previous versions of Blink that I
have tried.
Now I am getting the following error message when I try to

I've configured access to my google contacts, I have 2FA enabled.
The procedure terminated correctly, but when I restart blink it shows this
error:
ERROR[main] Unhandled exception in notification observer

handling notification 'GoogleAuthorizationWasAccepted'
ERROR[main]
Google is continuously changing their contacts API without any heads up or

I use Blink in Windows 10.
I have a problem with google contacts in Blink version 3.2.0.
I do not see google sign-in when I enable google contacts.
If I enable google contacts in Blink version 3.1.0, google login will
work fine, but I will see an empty bookmark in my contacts. After
I've enabled Google Contacts in Blink for Windows, which I just downloaded
and installed today. Although a section for Google Contacts now appears in
my list of contacts, it is empty, despite the fact that I have hundreds of
contacts in Google Contacts. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Google has quotas of how many requests per second you can make in a
Google contacts should now work without restrictions.
Starting with 11th of April Google finally fixed the quota issue for the
People API (not because of our request from 4 months ago, which is still
unanswered to this day, but because they just changed the People API
policy and removed any

for blink.

mechanism per application with values that make no sense in real life.

As you now OAuth 1.0 by Google has been officially deprecated and stop
supported on May 5, 2015.
So now, Blink Google Contacts sync not work anymore.
Please check the solution for new Google Contacts API -
https://developers.google.com/google-apps/contacts/v3/
plus Domain Shared Contacts API
Thanks for the pointers, added to our TODO list.
