might as well join the introductions now after a year or so. hi :)

I'm half through my phd at karolinska institutet doing c.elegans
(totally not molecules). background in mechanical engineering and math.
I am developing software for image processing and microscopy
(www.endrov.net) to support our needs for quantification. my interest
here comes from my coming attempts to fix bioinformatics which will
require some forwarding-thinking in chemoinformatics as well.

interested in all design and infrastructure issues as well as pure
software engineering, eliminating bad languages and methods. totally
pro-open source.

I mentioned Bioclipse in an other mail, but Bioclipse1 had
bioinformatics functionality too, and after Bioclipse 2.0 we will
reinstate that... if you like to contribute with that, most welcome!
If you need a demo, or like to drop by in Uppsala one day, maybe
combined with a talk on your work?
