Hi, Thanks for the response. Thankfully, it does seem to be the power supply. Using a voltmeter at work suggests it's giving no output. I think I've found an appropriate one to test it, is the spec of the power supply on the 'Net anywhere? The one I've found appears to have the positive output

Hi, Sorry to hear of your Boom's demise, fingers crossed it's just the power adapter (have you tried wriggling the power plug connector in the back of the Boom, they can get dirty and lose contact). There's a few threads around here that cover dis-assembly and repair... PBroughton's thread
