There is an alternative to leaning your machine over to get it to descale
the sides of the steam boiler properly.  You can get your steam boiler to
fill up totally by unplugging the water level sensor. When youswitch
onagain,  the pump will start pumping water into the steam boiler,  keep
the tap on the steam wand open so that you can see when the steam boiler is
full, water will start coming out of the steam tap,   then switch off,
reconnect the sensor and switch on again to heat up and soak.

The brew boiler is fully saturated so no action is necessary to get it to
descale properly.
