I just finished Foundation's Triumph, and I have to say I am very disappointed
with what has been done with Asimov's concepts.
Robots who terraformed virtually all Earth-like planets in the galaxy, wiping
out virtually all extraterrestrial life forms... a robot disciple of Daneel
Olivaw, killing
I've read two of the first four HP books because they were Hugo
Nominees. They were nice, easy reads.
Nothing spectacular, in my mind, but I did enjoy them. Good children's
fare, and just interesting enough
that I feel that adults might like them.
As the series went on, the books got more
