Before we consider other combinations, did you see the key presses in the log
file I attached to the prevous email? E.g. is it possible that we can detect
key presses like left+in, are these combinations detected at all by BRLTTY?
If not, we could use the joystick together with a dot, e.g. dot
Samuel and Dave, thank you. I edited Andre's console-setup file to
display 80 columns as default, so we're 98% there. The final issue
is that even with only 80 columns displayed by tty, he still misses
the first few letters on the left of a line. The behavior starts after he
