I'd like to resolve this issue in 6.4. Are you able to build brltty from the
repository for testing?

Hi,
one more thing for speech output with a2 screen driver:
It would be great if a user could stop speaking by pressing ctrl key.

Hi Dave,
it would be a great start if we could improve existing speech features.
First:
with autospeak enabled try to read a info page like
info bash
then type and hold down arrow key
Result: brlltty stops reading the selected line
An other thing is when using the a2 screendriver:

Ah, that's really good. I meant after routing occurs. Okay that's all the
ideas I had. The speaking rest of line may be helpful in kind of speed
reading braille, where you may read the first part of a line, let's say
half the display length, or a quarter of it, and the TTS reads the rest,

Without actually routing the cursor, or after cursor routing? The latter exists
already. If autospeak is enabled then, after cursor routing, the whole line i
If it doesn't already, saying the character or word that the cursor routing
key moves the cursor to, perhaps speaking part of a line or the last part
of the line, that a user pans to, or speaking what a user types

Since the topic has come up, I'm curious: What new brltty features would people
find useful so that it'd work better with speech?
