To me, it's not obvious how to choose values in the preferences menu.
When you want to change braille table for instance, you can use the
cursor routing keys to select another value. But when you have a short
display with few cursor routing keys, then there are simply not enough
keys to have one for each availabel braille table.

I'm using a Handy Tech Active Braille display with 40 characters. I
found out that I can cycle through the available tables with
LeftRockerDown+LeftRockerUp+RightRockerDown+RightRockerUp, but then you
can only cycle one way in the list, and the list is long!

One thought could be to redefine the braille display keys within the
references menu, like this:

- LeftRockerDown+LeftRockerUp = choose prevous value

- RightRockerDown+RightRockerUp = choose next value.
