Thanks a lot.

It would be great if you can give some reference to how can I generate
these fonts.

Ok, then you can try to make your Linux distribution use one of the
attached font, depending which font size your system is already using
(probably a 16 pixel font). If your system uses another font size than 8
and 16, I can easily generate it too.

Hi,

I actually want only to read it in braille through brltty, it does not
matter if it is displayed correctly on console.
Any suggestions, references on how to do it.

You need to load a devanagari PSF font. I have however not seen one in the
usual console font packages, so you would probably have to convert one
or create it from scratch.

If you only care about being able to read it in braille and not actually
show it on the physical screen, we can easily create a dumb font to do
that.

That will "just work" once the font is set up correctly and you
configure brltty to use the hindi (hi) braille table (actually the
devanagari table).

[BRLTTY] Translating unicode characters with brltty

2018-02-09 Thread Vikash Kesarwani
Hi,
I am trying to use unicode with brltty but I don't know where to start.
Currently I am facing following problems.

1. I am unable to display unicode characters (hindi) on virtual terminal
2. How do I tell brltty to read unicode and translate.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
