That can be done better. I can cool a 20-liter pot in a bucket of cold water, in less than 20 minutes. The secret is to make sure that the water in the bucket keeps circulating! Otherwise you end up with a layer of hot water around the pot, and cold water elsewhere, doing no good. I just leave the hose running a really small trickle, just enough to keep the water moving along the pot. A friend of mine had a little toy boat with a propeller, which he used for a similar purpose. It worked too. Just squeeze it between the pot and the bucket, and turn the engine on... But as you say, > It WILL be beer anyway (just add enough late hops ;-) -H -- Heikki Levanto "In Murphy We Turst" heikki (at) lsd (dot) dk _______________________________________________ Brygforum mailing list Brygforum@lists.haandbryg.dk http://lists.haandbryg.dk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/brygforum To get off the list, send a blank mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Frameld fra listen, send en tom mail til [EMAIL PROTECTED]
