I've used the OpenJDK Build 16 OSX 32 bit binary from Landon Fuller's
website. It seems rock solid to me and I've used it in Dev and Prod
over the last couple of months.

. It looks like there is now a b17, but I have no idea whether it
would build on a Mac or if it would work
