PowerPC G5 Mac OS Build still possible?

Hello, I recently followed the instructions on http://landonf.bikemonkey.org/2009/12/index.html to build OpenJDK. It doesn't work for me and it seems very inconsistent on where and why it fails. I was curious if there were new steps necessary to build or if it just wasn't possible at this point.

Could you take a look at http://code.google.com/p/openjdk-osx-build/ where we build OpenJDK 1.7 for x86 (32/64bits) ? Scripts are available there to build them and may have to be adapted to PowerPC
