Which Automake version was used to create this package, and which scriptversion does the `missing' script have? I cannot see how this could happen with the script provided with Automake-1.9.6, nor with the one from CVS HEAD. If you were using older autotools versions, be encouraged to upgrade them and use `autoreconf --verbose --install --force' on the package, or some other, appropriate bootstrapping mechanism (autogen.sh or whatever it uses).
