Built "gprofng" from source, it hangs forever during collection on multithreaded program, strace shows "futex(0x..., FUTEX_WAIT_PRIVATE, 1, NULL)"

Hey all, This is my first time reporting a bug on this list, please let me know if there's a standard format to follow. I heard about "gprofng" and wanted to try it; it sounded exciting. The first program I tried it on didn't work unfortunately. It hung forever at collection: [user@MSI] $
