As I was just trying some of the options of the commmand 'mv'
I noticed that the option --reply=no doesn't work.
It DOES overwrite the destination files without warning!!!
I tried it in combination with -i:
mv -i --reply=no source dest
or
mv -i --reply=no
or
mv --reply=no
but all of them
dear maintainers, i have coreutils-4.5.8-13 from my distro suse 8.2 and a dvd
burner which i use as a backup device. some of my backup files exceed the 4G
limit so i have to split before i burn. in doing so i noticed that split seems
to have a size limitation somewhere around the 2000m mark.
