It looks to me like "df" is reporting the disk usage faithfully from the numbers that statfs is giving it: 2971459 / 4120920 is 0.721, which would mean 72% is free and 28% is in use. The Used and Avail lines also seem to match the statfs call: e.g., 2971459 * 32768 B is 90.68 GiB.
