I finally got guile to configure my just hitting make over and over as
it kept freezing. But anyway, Now if i try to run guile i get this:
> guile
ERROR: Unbound variable: close-port
Any idea what exactly this means?

Hi,
I'm having problems compiling guile. I'm running an compaq alpha and i'm
using the f77 compiler. The problem is it keeps getting hung up every
few commands. If i ctrl+c it and do a make again it goes by it and then
finally compiles. Then after its done and i try to run the guile-config
manual
