With Debian 2.2.4, this causes a compilation failure:

    (current-language 'scheme))

  $ guile -s main.scm

  ;;; compiling .../main.scm
  ;;; WARNING: compilation of .../main.scm failed:
  ;;; In procedure struct_vtable: Wrong type argument in position 1 (expecting 
struct): scheme

I wondered if that was expected.
