I tried to install guix on top of Ubuntu, downloaded guix 0.3 and
installed the required dependecies.
I tried to first run guix pull but failed with an error on /nix/store
with wrong rights, the error provided a command to run which I did.
After that I run again guix pull and try to install zile w

I switched to Debian, So I can (re)produce the steps from above.

Sorry, I can't, I moved to debian sid and everything seems to work as
expected. I hope it will be useful for some else.

Can you copy and paste the error message here?
$ guix package -i bigloo@4.3b
substitute
$ guix package -i argon2
Should install .pc file to make it possible to discover the version of
argon2 on the host.
