I've allowed emacs and icecat to update after holding them back for

it's likely the safe version running from memory. Emacs, however, crashes

A recent update breaks my fonts for most programs, making all characters
show as empty boxes. This happens inside and outside tmux, across various
terminal emulators, etc. It does not occur in deluge-gtk or my TTY. I
experimented with rolling back and doing a partial upgrade from there. With

This issue may be a lot simpler than it initially seemed. I've had success
upgrading all those packages except for font-terminus. I also realized that
the broken font in all places I can think of was the same. It was Terminus.
So, this bug is likely specific to font-terminus and for now I will just

I believe this affects multiple things in ranger, but off the top of my

selected files in vidir using your specified editor so that you can rename

It seems this was something simple I overlooked. I was just missing the
file command. After a quick `guix package -i file` it now seems to work as
expected. This issue may be closed. I don't know how to do that myself.
This sounds similar to my issue, #34454

Thanks so much for taking a look at this. I was getting worried it would
never be solved since just a few of us were affected. I've updated and
everything seems to be in order. No more crashes from icecat, emacs,
pavucontrol, etc.
I've just installed spacefm. When I launch it I get a warning about
not having my root editor configured, and then I get a segmentation
fault. Nothing ever appears graphically. I believe these issues are
unrelated, but I can't be sure.

You cannot get a repl by running `clojure`, and it's lacking java as a
dependency even though java seems to be needed to use it. Other
languages are usable out of the box, so I think it would be good to
change these things.
Sorry about that! I forgot to search the issues before making one.
