It's me, well documented everywhere. GNU whois is maintained by the GNU inetutils team, and that is documented in any --help or --version output. GNU inetutils almost 20 years ago imported a copy of my whois, but it is a dead project. That is simply not true. If you have any patches, then they are most welcome.
