In my opinion rehearsal mark extent shouldn't cause notes' extent to
grow. It should work as in TextScript:
Bad:
\score {
b8 \mark \markup {\small \bold Parlando} as g16 g8.~g4 g16 g8 g16 |
c16 c c c c c c | c c c c c c c c | c c c c c c c c
}
Good:
\score {
b8^\markup {\small \bold Parlando}
This example causes a bug with the volta bracket position: they aren't aligned.
\score
{
\relative c''
{
\repeat volta 2
{
c2 d
} \alternative {{c e,1} {c e'1}}
}
}

A late sight displays that it takes an average of only 2.6
drunkenness to make a katzenjammer. But my lozenges
aids you elude katzenjammers and come alive feeling great from head
to abdomen and everyplace additional.
