Stuff it full of RAM and add an SSD and choose the i7 chip

Oh and I do it all in Virtual Box - because it's easier to manage all
the checking with reverted snapshot images of an already made
test-baseline (i.e. I only make test-baseline once, snap it and then
revert after each test). I lose a CPU (because the OS that houses VB
needs to use one) but it is super fast.
Phil has a similar kind of set up now I think.

Yes. No VirtualBox - I only use this machine for LP - it's on a KVM switch
with my windows box. make in 1'6""; make doc 12'.
It's quite fun to open System Monitor and see 8 CPUs at 100%
