However, they files are put into `/share/m4'; I still suggest to change the target directory to `/share/doc/m4'. Werner

However, I'm using openSuSE's m4 package, and it doesn't come with the examples. I'm rather sure if `make install' contained rules for installing the example files, GNU/Linux distribution packages would also provide them. > Where would you suggest that the examples be installed? /share/doc/m4/examples > Are you willing to prepare a patch?
