Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? I didn't know it was
possible to make gpt partitions 0 sectors wide.
(parted) print
Model: ATA Samsung SSD 850 (scsi)
Disk /dev/sdb: 1000GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: gpt
Disk Flags:
Number Start End Size
(Windows-based, acronis disk-director) do not see any
problem with partitions on this disk.
It may be a bug, as far as I am concerned.

Here's a patch for this. I constructed a table with two FAT partitions
on a memory card, hid one partition by changing its type code, and then
verified that fatresize would destroy the hidden partition but would
leave it intact once I applied this patch
data style? i can't find a
command to do that.
any ideas?

Parted doesn't compile with LDFLAGS=-Wl,--as-needed, because
libparted.so is not linked to libdl, and thus has unresolved symbols.

a corrupt USB Drive.
But even after removing the USB Drive and restarting Gparted, all drive
where showing as locked.
