2018-03-16 Thread Wensheng Xie
Dear Texinfo team:

I have got the texinfo.texi and other files as input files, but the command

*texi2dvi texinfo.texi texinfo.dvi*

still output error

texi2dvi: etex exited with bad status, quitting.

Could you please help me check it?

best regards,
wxie

No, it should not. If it did, it would most likely be called info2dvi.

Error: texi2dvi texinfo.info

2018-03-07 Thread Wensheng Xie
Dear Texinfo team:

texi2dvi should take an input file in info format and output a dvi file,
shouldn't it?

When I do the following:
texi2dvi texinfo.info

It outputs error:
texi2dvi: pdfetex exited with bad status, quitting.
The file texinof.info is taken from
https://www.gnu.org/software/texinfo/manual/texinfo/texinfo.info.tar.gz

@texi2dvi (GNU Texinfo 6.5) 7906

Could you give a hint why this happened?

If you need further information, please let me know.

best regards,
wxie
