The --with-ssl option accepts an argument, which is the location for openssl.
I am marking this bug as INVALID, because the problem can be solved without any
code changes.

Unfortunately, there really isn't a good value that is available on all
platforms. Previous versios of RedHat Linux used to include a -1 user,
but that was removed. I am marking this bug as WONTFIX, because there is
no good solution.

Thank you for using Apache.

depending on if the RM wishes to include it in a tag that is likely to be made
sometime tonight or tomorrow.

This has been fixed in CVS, and will be available in a later release. The
default_handler wasn't catching cases where all of the previous modules had
declined to serve the request.

The best way to do this type of thing, is to run a script on the log files
after they have been written, or to use piped logs. The biggest problem with
this idea, is that EVERY CustomLog directive requires a separate file.
If we allow a CustomLog inside of directory, location, and files
containers,
it will be very easy to run out of file descriptors very quickly.

Beyond that, the logging modules are not designed to solve every possible
problem,
they are designed to do as little as possible, and allow for external programs
to solve the harder problems.

I have commented out the offending variable. If users want to add it back, they
can uncomment it. Regardless, we shouldn't be including this information by
default.
