Hmm, the newline already comes in when reading from stdin. Did you remove it in
the transformation process?
Also, $/ would be wrong. It has to be \n.

Doesn't this mean that Vhosts are no longer honored here? Seems we'd always be
using the base server config with this patch, which is non optimal.
