DO NOT REPLY [Bug 47325] New: Stopping a httpd that was run from console
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=47325 Summary: Stopping a httpd that was run from console Product: Apache httpd-2 Version: 2.2.11 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Documentation AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org ReportedBy: jhannw...@gmail.com The docs say that we can stop httpd.exe by "opening another console window and entering:"... "httpd.exe -k shutdown". See http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.3/platform/windows.html#wincons That doesn't work. It seems the -k switch will look for httpd installed as a service. -- Configure bugmail: https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: bugs-unsubscr...@httpd.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: bugs-h...@httpd.apache.org
DO NOT REPLY [Bug 40029] mod_proxy should interoperate with RPC over HTTP
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40029 m...@familiekling.de changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED Resolution|INVALID | --- Comment #6 from m...@familiekling.de 2009-06-06 15:09:52 PST --- Hello, with Apache 2.2.11 it is still not functioning. Microsoft released a protocol specification here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc243950.aspx Does that change anything? Is there a chance that apache will support rpc over http in the future? I think there is a major interest to use apache as a proxy for possibly insecure IIS applications like this. thank you! DO NOT REPLY [Bug 46671] Apache periodicaly crashes .
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=46671 Toor changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED Resolution|INVALID | --- Comment #4 from Toor 2009-06-06 02:14:04 PST --- (In reply to comment #3) > You are using a threaded MPM not only with mod_php, but with a number of > libraries known not to be thread-safe. When you do that, occasional segfaults > are to be expected. It's possible, but I talk not about segfault, but about behaviour after segfault. As described in doc, apache child must restart (or just die) after segfault, but his not. So, after this happend many times apache have no more limit for run new childs and crashes as result of limit excedeed (not because segfault happend).
