The same procedure works fine with OpenBSD 7.2.
Hi,
Trying to install OpenBSD 7.3 in a fresh VM in VirtualBox 6.1.38, like I did
with OpenBSD 7.2, fails with a "fatal protection fault".
My steps are:
Downloaded https://cdn.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/7.3/amd64/install73.iso
Prepare a new VM, RAM size 1 GiB, virtual disk 8 GB.
Boot with the .iso

Whereas for me, installation into qemu-system-x86_64 works fine (unlike the
installation into VirtualBox).
I use these settings:
qemu version

Yes, I'm sure. The sha256 sum matches the one given in
https://cdn.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/7.3/amd64/SHA256.
And I installed the same .iso in qemu without problems.
Hi,
OpenBSD 7.4 and 7.3 for sparc64 do not boot from the disk on which the
OpenBSD installer has installed the OS. This is under QEMU, not hardware SPARC.
It worked with OpenBSD 7.2; therefore it must be a regression.
How to reproduce:
- Use GNU/Linux as a guest. (I use a distro on x86_64.)

OpenBSD amd64 guests in VirtualBox 6.1 need the configuration
