Kernel panic if the pipex is activated in the kernel and traffic is 
sent

or received on a tun interface of an OpenVPN network. The machine is a
PC Engine APU 2c4.


Can you try -current?
There have been a couple of fixes applied to pipex since 6.1.


haven't been able to reproduce the crash, neither on 6.1 than on 
current.


- apu2
- openvpn installed
- basic configuration applied
- pipex enabled
- ping tunX

i spoke with the Guys which caused the crash (https://communityrack.org) and 
asked them what they did exactly.

they said that they changed their AS Nr on their frr 5 router. after a short 
shut / no shut, the famous „fatal in RDE“ appeared.

Important detail. it happened after restarting the ipv6 session. Seems like 
ipv4 didn’t trigger the bug.
