Hi! I reported troubles with this keypad on reddit and was asked to report it on bugs@. Hope this is the right place :)
When connecting the Filco TenKeyPad USB numeric keypad to ThinkPad X201 with OpenBSD 6.3 the following happens. When the keypad is connected the NumLock-light is off but all numeric keys on the keypad works except the equal-sign-button. When I press the equal-sign no key works afterwards. When I press NumLock directly after connecting the light on the keypad lights up and the keys Esc, Tab, BackSpace, -, + and Enter works as expected but as soon any other key on the keypad is pressed it locks up the same way as described above. The NumLock-function for the internal keyboard works as it should. The BIOS-setting for NumLock is set to Independent. /var/log/messages reports: Apr 14 09:41:26 bob /bsd: uhidev0 at uhub2 port 1 configuration 1 interface 0 "Cypress Cypress USB Keyboard / PS2 Mouse" rev 1.10/0.01 addr 3 Apr 14 09:41:26 bob /bsd: uhidev0: iclass 3/1 Apr 14 09:41:26 bob /bsd: ukbd0 at uhidev0: 8 variable keys, 6 key codes Apr 14 09:41:26 bob /bsd: wskbd1 at ukbd0 mux 1 Apr 14 09:41:26 bob /bsd: wskbd1: connecting to wsdisplay0 pcidump reports: Domain /dev/pci0: 0:0:0: Intel Core Host 0:2:0: Intel HD Graphics 0:22:0: Intel 3400 MEI 0:25:0: Intel 82577LM 0:26:0: Intel 3400 USB 0:27:0: Intel 3400 HD Audio 0:28:0: Intel 3400 PCIE 0:28:3: Intel 3400 PCIE 0:28:4: Intel 3400 PCIE 0:29:0: Intel 3400 USB 0:30:0: Intel 82801BAM Hub-to-PCI 0:31:0: Intel QM57 LPC 0:31:2: Intel 3400 SATA 0:31:3: Intel 3400 SMBus 0:31:5: Intel 3400 SATA 0:31:6: Intel 3400 Thermal 2:0:0: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 255:0:0: Intel QuickPath 255:0:1: Intel QuickPath 255:2:0: Intel QPI Link 255:2:1: Intel QPI Physical 255:2:2: Intel Reserved 255:2:3: Intel Reserved
