I got the same error yesterday with KVM on a netcup.de setup. Netcup
provide a very old openbsd ISO Image so I thought it was the cause of
the error. Now I think it's a serious error.

My workaround: I restarted the installation from CD and selected HTTP
for the tgz sources.

Hi,

Are you installing this using optical media (CD/DVD)? From the errors
shown, it looks like it might be an optical drive. If you're using a burned
disc, can you try with a USB flash drive and see if that gives the same
errors?
