Skills Needed:
Senior Tester to support a contract with a civilian government agency in
Suitland, MD.
· Salenium testing experience and SOAP UI experience required
· This individual will be a part of a joint customer development
team to support testing of an Oracle data warehouse solution.
· The responsibilities for this position will be to test new
functionality released on a monthly schedule.
· This position requires basic SQL skills for development of
expected results and troubleshooting problems found during testing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work closely with developers, business analysts and product
managers to define the appropriate testing approach for enhancements and
new releases Design test plans, test scenarios and test cases Prepare test
data Execute test plans, determine pass/fail conditions and troubleshoot
variances
Qualifications:
· Must have at least 10 years of development and/or software QA
experience (or 8 years and an advanced degree)
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, SW Engineering, or related
field Minimum 2+ years recent SQL experience, preferably Oracle Must have
experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing,
and User Acceptance Testing phases Must have experience with end-to-end
testing of the ETL process of a data warehouse system Experience in
developing QA plans as well as translating them into test cases and
executing them Must be technical, creative, detail-oriented, and a strong
team player
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Strong written and communication skills
· Familiar with Agile Scrum Familiar with Quick Test Pro, Serena
Business Manager, and HP ALM Experienced using Automated Software Testing
tools, preferably in a data warehouse environment Familiar with Continuous
Integration concepts (CI), CI tools and Test Driven Development
Candidate must have:
· Strong technical skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong problem solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
· Ability to communicate effectively with business and technology
personnel at all levels
· Flexibility for work hours
· Availability for travel as required
· Previous Quality Assurance Manual testing experience

· The ability to make educated decisions regarding their projects
· 4-year Bachelors degree in business, Information Technology, or
related field (or equivalent experience)
· Ability to obtain a Public trust clearance
