Position: *Capacity Analyst/Service Delivery Manager* Duration: 12+ Months Location: San Jose, CA Rate: ALAP This position will be part of the eBay Technology Operations Global Supply Chain Asset Supply Management and Service Delivery team. Experienced member has *(5+ years) of experience in capacity planning of business products and services* in alignment to the data center infrastructure and networking footprint and architectures. This key role is a part of supply chain organization that is responsible for supporting our business partners, with their infrastructure by procuring required hardware effectively on time and meet infrastructure capabilities. *Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:* *Capacity Planning:* Will be responsible for short term (3-6 months) to up to 5 years of forecasting for compute, storage and data center space and power. *Understands Data center Infrastructure/architecture and processes* and able to do capacity planning and forecasting based on initiative projects, organic growth and align with budget allocated and infrastructure availability. Applies analytical skills and technical knowledge to resolve product and infrastructure conflicts and constraints. Understanding of system metrics and workloads which could be memory bound or CPU bound and align with appropriate SKUs of hardware gears. Forecasting based on long-term and short term sizing of hardware needs and cloud and non-cloud based application pools. *Service Delivery:* Obtaining technology requirement roadmap from various business unit and translating the project needs into *various hardware SKU forecasts* Demand aggregation from customers and execution financial management and planning/forecasting *Qualifications:* Suitable candidates should *demonstrate* *proficiency in Capacity planning and service delivery for data centers*. Performance Analysis, Capacity Planning, Performance testing. Experienced and or in-depth knowledge of *Data Center Networking and Data Center Products is a plus*; Storage architectures; Experienced and or prior involvement in providing *Data Center Solutions is a plus*.
