Thanks.!!! *Job Title: 1093192: InfoSec (Information Security) Analyst* *Location: Raleigh, NC* *Duration: through September, 30, 2015* *Description:* The client seeks Information Security Analysts to serve as a member of a security operations center. Security Analyst role will assist in the management and monitoring of a diverse set of security tools, to protect customer’s data from intrusion or unauthorized access. *Required Skills:* • 3+ years experience in Security Incident response and investigation. • Ability to identify, recognize, respond and troubleshoot security issues in a timely manner, including experience performing malware analysis • Experience in analyzing security logs generated by Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, network flow systems, Anti-Virus, and/or other security logging sources. • Experience performing security analysis utilizing SIEM technologies. • Experience performing analysis utilizing IDS consoles • Experience monitoring daily security reports and develops new reports as needed by security, management, and auditors. *Preferred Skills:* • Any of the following certifications: CISSP, pertinent SANS certifications (GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, etc…) • Familiar with basic Data Loss Prevention (DLP) concepts and Data Integrity/File Integrity/Host intrusion prevention service (HIPS) • Experience or familiarity with FISMA and NIST compliance • Basic understanding of forensics and detection concepts utilizing thresholds and statistics derived via analysis as they apply to digital attacks and evidence handling • Strong understanding of networking and associated protocols.
